Europe has it all. There are so many landscapes to explore, cultures to discover, people to meet. And Europe is united. It’s so fine that you can travel in Europe without many obstacles. Borders have often practically disappeared and now … just one camping card: Camping Key Europe.

This new Camping Card joins together the biggest membership organisations issuing Camping Card International and Camping Card Scandinavia in a new card with certainties you can rely on. This is both an identity and benefits card that gives access to campsites throughout Europe, including Scandinavia. From the fjords of Norway to the sunny coasts of the Mediterranean Sea, Camping Key Europe is the new gateway to campsites.

The card is new and the name is new, but the partners aren’t. Camping Key Europe is the result of cooperative efforts on the part of the ADAC, the ANWB and the four partners in Camping Card Scandinavia. As of 1 January 2012, they are going to work with Camping Key Europe. And more partners are expected to join soon. More than 1 million cards are already going to be made. The colour of the card is a fresh green and, being plasticized, the card is strong and durable.

In addition, the ADAC and the ANWB have also chosen to produce a yellow paper discount card under the same name and design and to insert it into the Campsite Guides of the ADAC and the ANWB, so that the discounts offered by campsites will be published. This paper camping card is not personal and is thus not an identity card. About 350,000 copies of this yellow Camping Key Europe will be distributed. This card contains the well-known ADAC CampCard discount programme.

Criss-cross through Europe with just one card. A goal has been reached. And there is more. The benefits for campers and campsite owners have increased. The most important of these are listed under the title ‘about the card’ on this site.
